Thanksgiving Feast

Today Jase had his first program at school and it was great to watch.  This is going to sound corny, but I had tears in my eyes as he was walking out and shaking his little egg.  I really need to get over how big he is getting!!  They sang two songs and did an activity to another song.  In one of the songs I noticed he was moving his leg back and forth, like a modified dance move...lol.  I think Shawn was zoomed in too much for you to see it on the recording, but it was funny.  I asked him about it when we got home and he said it was from Fresh Beat Band (Nickelodeon)!!  Haha!  He is a trip!

The school director walked around and was saying hello and asked if everyone at our table was here for Jase and we said yes we are.  She said that she thinks he has the most people here...it was cute.  Daddy, Nanny and Grandma were able to take off of work and Alisha and Grandpa Leonard also came to support Jase.  We are so proud of him!  After the performance we shared a little feast, visited and then called it a day and went to the house.

If you have 7+ minutes to spare, here is the video of his performance!  Enjoy!!

Other than the video footage, I only have the picture below, which is a good one with my dad.  Except Allyson, she was not feeling it!

Fall Festivities

The week before last Jase had his first preschool party. All of the kids dressed up...it was so cute!! They ate Chick-fil-a nuggets, fruits, veggies, and of course candy. After they finished eating, they played a bean bag toss and smiled for a group picture.

Bean bag toss...or throw!! :)

Last Sunday we went to our church's annual fall festival.  Everyone had a great time and we supported our Texas Longhorns, even though they are having a rough season!  A fan through thick and thin!  Jase was our little football player and Allyson was our head cheerleader!!  Both did great in their costumes and Jase even put on his "black eyes", which I could not get him to wear for his school's party.  I think Papa was the determining factor for Jase.  They read: PHIL 4:13, which is "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."  Philippians 4:13.  As Christians, that's exactly how we need to live: with Christ everything is possible; I am not good enough, but my God is and He can do anything.

French Fam Football Action

Jase loves loves sports! We usually play some type of sport every night, either in the living room or outside. Tonight it was football and since Daddy got home a little earlier today, we were able to go outside after dinner with some daylight to spare.

It was Shawn and Allyson v. Jase. It was so funny watching Shawn be the quarterback and calling out the play "46, 42, red m&m, blue, 18 baby, hut, hut" and then hear Jase call the same exact play when he was on offense. Priceless!! Allyson was having just as much fun as the boys! :)

Before we went in, I was picked up on Jase's team and joined the fun!! We all had a great time...thankful, blessed, and loving life!
