Alpaca Farm

On Monday we joined some friends on a trip to a local Alpaca Farm. We were able to pet and feed the alpacas and learn about them too. They are related to camels and llamas. This owner has the alpacas separated by sex since there would be a huge population if not.
Maebry and Jameson playing together.
Finn was fearless! He loved feeding the alpacas!
Mae too! She got right up there and fed them.
Jase giggled each time he fed them. He said it felt weird when they were licking his hand! Allyson did not want to feed them at all!
Once a year the owner has the alpacas shaved and the wool is then turned into yard. The scarves that she has knitted were super soft
NO PROB-LLAMA! I thought this shirt was fitting!

Eight is GREAT

Miss Ally turned 8 on September 1st and we had a great time celebrating her!! She requested a pool party and what goes better with the water than MOANA?! We had a fun poolside party with family and a friend of hers!

The three youngest helped with cupcakes and icing!
I picked up these Moana cupcake rings from the Walmart Bakery. I added some brown sugar to the top of them to represent sand.
Hei Hei...the chicken from Moana!
These Lemon Tarts were so good. Shawn brought them home one evening from La Madeleine's and Ally requested these for her Islander Party!
The kids swam for a bit and then we broke out a piñata. I'll post a video below with some footage of it! The kids didn't know about the piñata; it was a fun surprise!
We relaxed and ate our goodies.
We sang Happy Birthday and enjoyed some sweets!
 Present time!
And a little more pool time to wrap up the party!
Here is a short video of her party! Enjoy!
