Yesterday afternoon we drove out to Fayetteville to celebrate the wedding ceremony of Shawn's younger sister, Amanda. The ceremony and reception were held at Las Brisas Farm and it was a nice place; very intimate setting. The only downfall was staying cool while the sun was up, but once the sun started setting, it was smooth sailing from there.
Amanda was a beautiful bride and the entire wedding party looked great.
So this doesn't happen very often: all 5 French kids at the same place at the same time. We were only missing one granddaughter and 1 great-granddaughter. What an awesome family tree!
I thought the daddy/daughter dance was neat. Logan and Amanda have two children together and during the dance Logan and Tessa began dancing. It was too cute to see the two sets of dads and their daughters together.
The cake was beautiful and super yummy. The wedding coordinator was also very impressed with the cake. She said "this is what I do for a living and I see cakes all the time and this is high quality." Kudos to Michelle for another awesome cake...time for expansion!
