Professor Fantastic

We are teaching children's church in the morning, so this evening we were getting everything in order for it.  The lesson is about teaching the kids that they are "fearfully and wonderfully made" Psalm 139:14 and all of them are fantastic and unique, just like God had planned.

With the weather so nice, I really wanted to get the kids outside.  So, after we sing songs in the morning, we are going to bring them outside and Professor Fantastic (Shawn) will have an experiment set up and ready to go.  Shawn will walk them step-by-step on mixing vinegar and baking soda and let them see their reaction to one another or what mixing a base and an acid as Shawn explained earlier...I think he thought he was back in the lab at work ;).  I'll use this fantastic experiment to tie in how fantastic God created them and that each and everyone of them are wonderfully made just the way they are.

I hope the kids enjoy it tomorrow, I know we sure did at home!
