There is just a way better feeling to picking someone up from the airport, rather than dropping them off. Goodbyes are so difficult, while hellos have a much better feeling about them. Me and the kiddos picked Shawn up from the airport yesterday afternoon and we were all very happy to see him. His flight landed early, so we got an extra 20 minutes out of the deal! :)
He had a great time and the implementation of the well was a success. He was amazed to see God move through the locals during the dedication of the well ceremony. He said they were very appreciative of this water well, and especially the women, as they have to fetch most of the water since they do the cooking and cleaning. I'm so glad he got to go and be a part of this ministry. We are definitely glad to have him home. :)
